Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #202

Room 202

Located at the top of the landing on the second floor of the main inn this soft green colored room is an Inn Suite with a private queen size bedroom and a small bathroom that has a shower/tub combination.  A cozy hardwood-floored sitting room attached to the bedroom has a TV and a love seat that folds out into a single bed for a child or teenager.  The room has a western exposure looking out over the Main Street of Jackson Village and the park.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #203

Room 203

This warm yellow room is a corner Inn Suite on the second floor of the main inn with a private queen size bedroom and a small attached bathroom that has a shower/tub combination. A cozy hardwood-floored sitting room attached to the bedroom has a TV and a love seat for two. The room has a western exposure looking out over Main Street and our neighbors at the Snowflake Inn.

This room is reached through the main dining room and a narrow staircase to the second floor that requires anyone taller than 5’8” to duck their head or knock yourself out on the cross beam.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #309

Room 309

Located at the top of the landing on the third floor of the main inn this hot chocolate colored room is an Inn Suite that sleeps two people in a private queen size bedroom with a tiny corner bathroom that has a shower with no bathtub. A cozy hardwood-floored sitting room attached to the bedroom has a TV, gas fireplace for heat on cold nights, and a love seat for reading.

The room has a western exposure looking out over the Main Street of Jackson Village, the park, and Iron Mountain in the distance. One of our best rooms with the smallest bathroom, off-set by a terrific walk-in closet.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #312

Room 312

Not really an Inn Suite, but one of our biggest open concept rooms located on the third floor with a queen bed, sitting nook, TV, gas fireplace for heat on cold nights, and a private bath with a tub/shower combination. This warm yellow room has great morning light that pours though windows overlooking the summer gardens.

Room 312 offers the best chance of seeing the occasional black bear looking for berries or just sniffing around without risk to life or limb.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #208

Room 207 & 208

These rooms are often referred to as Tavern rooms since they are located above the Tavern (bar). Both rooms are small Inn Rooms that are great for anyone who enjoys the nightlife in our pub and appreciates that fact that less than 50 feet separates your bar stool from your bed. Room 207 has a full size bed (see room 204 description and couples who remember how to cuddle), TV and private bath with shower/tub combo. Room 208 is our only room that has two beds (twins) with a TV and private bath with shower/tub combo. While these rooms are small and noisy on nights when we offer entertainment in the bar below the bonus is that they are just off a spacious living room with lots of room to relax and spread out on some great couches and overstuffed chairs to read, relax and enjoy a drink or board game.

Great for active travelers, couples traveling together, or father/son, or mother/daughter hikers and skiers.

Inn Rooms »

Room 201

Located on the second floor of the main inn this is our only room where you have to toss on a robe to access a private bathroom outside the room. It’s very close so you could chance it without the robe. Inside the room there is a queen bed, TV, and a cozy little sitting room with a comfy chair for reading. Great afternoon light spills in from the mountains beyond. You will hear guests laughing and bidding goodnight when we close for the evening, but once the farewells are over all is quiet.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #204

Room 204

Located across the landing from Room 203, Room 204 is one of our coziest (smallest) Inn Rooms. Painted a warm relaxing chocolate brown, the room’s full size bed provides a remarkably deep sleep for couples who remember how to cuddle. A small TV, overstuffed chair, and cubby sized private bath with shower offer all the amenities of a larger room with the benefit of less space to search if you lose your car keys. This full windowed room offers an excellent view of the kitchen roof and fire escape and can be a bit noisy until our chef calls it quits for the night.

Wildcat Inn & Tavern room #311

Room 311

Located on the third floor of the main inn this light cream colored room sleeps two people in a full size bed with a small private bathroom that has a shower/tub combination. The cozy bedroom has a TV and a gas fireplace for heat on cold nights. The room is well lit with windows that offer a partial view of the summer gardens. A very popular room for cuddlers of all ages or singles on a getaway.

Igloo Room »

Igloo Room - Wildcat Tavern

The Igloo Room

75 years ago the mountain behind the inn was a ski area and the building known today as the Igloo was a small base lodge.  Legend has it that years before this building was used by the area’s grand hotels to store cutting ice during the summer months for refrigeration.  Now it sleeps 6 – a king bedroom and guest bedroom with a full size bed upstairs and queen sleep sofa in the living room downstairs.  Two small bathrooms (one with a shower/tub combination) and lots of room for ski or hiking gear make this a great lodge for families or friends traveling together.  Add in a micro-wave and mini refrigerator and you’ve got a great place to stay.

Note:  It’s the Igloo – not the Waldorf.
